I am a great fan of deamon traps, which in Lhasa often bget dumped at corssroads or at the river bank. The thread crosses (tin.: mdos) are part of a ransom ritual (tib.: glud), with which sick people are belived to be riddened from the evil spirits that do harm to them and cause the disease. I should have many more pictures of those ... I will search for them in the near future.
I had no time to sort or comment them yet ... sorry.
